$30K For A Rainy Day

September 15th, 2016

Rain didn’t dampen attendance or giving at the 30th Anniversary Commemoration and Fundraiser on September 17th. Over $2500 was raised at the kick-off, held at Turnham Family Farm Market. Kawartha Credit Union and Punk Rock Produce presented cash donations and our new van was revealed, largely in part with the assistance of Matthew St. Amand and Lakeridge Chrysler.

“A wonderful kick-off of the Bank’s $30K for a Rainy Day”, says Duncan Mackinnon, executive director for Fare Share. On hand were also MP Kim Rudd and Port Hope Mayor Bob Sanderson who offered thoughtful and supportive addresses.
