This Saturday, Dec. 11, the Port Hope Kinsmen Club will be doing double-duty at the Metro: selling Christmas trees and collecting for Fare Share.

The Kinsmen will be on-hand at their Christmas tree kiosk, located in the parking lot of the Port Hope Metro, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Look for the Fare Share van to drop off your donation. All contributions received will go to the Fare Share Food Bank.

More people than ever before are relying on local food banks this year, and Fare Share volunteers and community organizations are doing everything they can to keep the shelves stocked. Please do your part to help feed our neighbours this holiday season.

Donations can be made at the Kinsmen Club’s Christmas tree kiosk this Saturday, Dec. 11 between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. You can also contribute directly to the Fare Share Food Banks or at any of our regular drop-off locations in Port Hope and Cobourg, by visiting our website at www.fareshare.ca, or by calling us at 905-372-5308.
