September is Hunger Action Month! Have you ever wondered what the food bank looks like or what goes on behind the scenes to prepare for visits from our Neighbours? Or maybe you’re considering volunteering but want to get to know the staff, volunteers, and facilities a little bit more first. On Saturday, September 13th, Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank will be hosting an open house!

Join us at our Cobourg location: 700 D’Arcy St, Building 19.  Everyone who is interested in learning more about the food bank, its facilities, and its operations is welcome to come see what we do to help feed our Neighbours.

While you’re here, we’ll also give you some information about Hunger Action Month, upcoming events, and @feedontario ‘s petition for a strong, vibrant, and hunger-free Ontario.

If you would like to bring a non-perishable food item with you to donate, you are more than welcome to, but it is not required to attend the open house!
